Integrative medicine and health reaffirms the importance of the relationship between practitioner and patient, focuses on the whole person, is informed by evidence, and makes use of all appropriate therapeutic and lifestyle approaches, health care professionals and disciplines to achieve optimal health and healing. UVM Integrative Health sponsors the Laura Mann Integrative Healthcare Lecture Series and the Integrative Practitioner Forum. Both are free and open to the public.
The College of Nursing and Health Sciences offers a variety of courses related to integrative health - including certificates in Integrative Health Care and Integrative Health and Wellness Coaching.
