The College of Nursing and Health Sciences endeavors to prepare graduates who lead and collaborate with stakeholders across disciplines to foster exemplary interprofessional, compassionate and family-centered services and create and use knowledge that contributes to the health and wellness of individuals, communities and society.

    Our Vision for Research

    The College of Nursing and Health Sciences creates an environment for research that translates evidence to practice. Our initiatives include include research incentives for faculty, opportunities for undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral student research and forums for faculty and students to present their ideas.

Commitment to Teaching and Advising

Our responsibility to prepare students for challenging roles in the health care professions makes advising a strength and focus. Similarly, our model for teaching excellence incorporates student feedback and peer evaluation with faculty portfolio review.

Advisory Board

The College of Nursing and Health Sciences Advisory Board serves as counsel to the dean.



The College of Nursing and Health Sciences currently serves 946 undergraduate and 256 graduate students in its vision to improve health and wellness through education, community service, and research.
