Michele Guyette (she/her/hers) serves as the Academic Program Support for the Department of Education. In this role, she works closely with the Director of Educator Licensure Programs and the Director of Community Collaboration.
Prior to her current position, Michele worked at the College of Education and Social Services in the Dean’s Office as the Assistant to the Associate Deans. She also served as the Administrative Assistant of the Department of Education Chairperson.
Born and raised in Brazil, Michele speaks Portuguese and English. As a first-generation graduate, she earned her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Community and International Development from the University of Vermont.
Michele is highly interested in diversity, social justice, and educational access for all. She creates a collaborative atmosphere that is inclusive to students, faculty, staff, and all members of our community.
As a Latina woman, Michele enjoys dancing, summer weather, and time outdoors with her husband and two sons.
