Professor, University Scholar, and Chair - Department of Education

Kimberly Vannest serves as Department of Education Chair and Professor in UVM's College of Education and Social Services. Her nationally recognized areas of research and scholarship include interventions for emotional and behavioral disorders in educational and clinical settings, and single case experimental design analysis. 

Dr. Vannest has published 88 manuscripts, 12 books and 9 book chapters. She is currently a co-Principal Investigator on an Institute of Education Sciences (IES) grant, and has successfully collaborated or led more than 20 grants through the U.S. Department of Defense, the U.S. Department of Education, and the National Science Foundation. 

Currently serving as the President Elect for The Council for Children with Behavioral Disorders, Dr. Vannest also works as a reviewer for federal funding agencies and leading journals in Education, Special Education, Counseling, School Psychology, Assessment, and Methodology.
