We Teach.

Our faculty, staff, and affiliates teach in person and online, run educational programs, create innovative courses, and give guest lectures. We work to use Universal Design for Learning strategies to promote inclusion, diversity, and self-determination.

Academic Programs

THINK COLLEGE VERMONT

What started out as a federally funded grant is now a thriving inclusive program for students with intellectual disabilities. Think College students take UVM courses, participate in for-credit internships, and navigate campus culture with the support of peer mentors. These credits and experiences culminate in a Certificate of Professional Studies through UVM's College of Continuing and Distance Education, with the ultimate goal of more gainful employment.

Courses and Guest Lectures

Our faculty members offer multiple courses throughout the academic year through the College of Education and Social Services and Continuing and Distance Education. We work to partner with departments and faculty across the university to provide guest lectures in courses on disability-related topics.
