Virtual Votey is a virtual computer lab that is configured to have some of the software availble on lab computers in Votey. The intention is to provide a remote platform where students can run costly licensed software without having to be in Votey.

Virtual Votey requires users to have Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) set up on their account before it will let them log in. If MFA is not configured, an 'access denied' error will appear when trying to log in. To set up MFA on your account, follow this guide: https://www.uvm.edu/it/kb/article/duo-multi-factor-authentication

To connect to Virtual Votey from your Mac or Windows PC, follow this guide: https://www.uvm.edu/it/kb/article/vmware-horizon-client

Note: Virtual Votey is not currently accepting in-browser connections, the Horizon Client must be used.
