Center for Biomedical Innovation (CBi) Project Development Workshop: Rural Delivery of High-Quality Health and Wellness

Engineers, Computer Scientists, Statisticians, Medical Professionals, Students, Faculty, Staff, and Entrepreneurs, join us!  The Center for Biomedical Innovation is looking for ideas for improving patient care with data or a device to collaborate and advance their idea toward commercialization. The Center for Biomedical Innovation will invest in 2-3 projects this spring with up to $10K in funds to support student salary, and supplies. We will build faculty / student teams, and support the projects in our new Discovery Building CBi space. Teams will have access to FabLab facilities and the facilities in the new CBi space. To submit an idea: Send 1⁄2 to 1 page idea summary to Sharon.Sylvester@uvm.edu.

Workshop Agenda:
Presentation of ideas (2 min per idea)
Clustering of ideas by topic
Brainstorming to combine and refine the ideas and choose the 2-3 projects the CBi will focus on this spring
Coffee and snacks provided.

About the Workshop The Center for Biomedical Innovation (CBi) is a partnership between CEMS, CNHS, GSB, LCOM to develop new technologies and devices that improve the delivery of high quality health and wellness care to rural  communities.
