• Center for Cultural Pluralism

Sherwood SmithWelcome to the Center for Cultural Pluralism (CCP).  CCP is an office of the Diversity, Engagement & Professional Development Unit under the Division of Human Resources, Diversity & Multicultural Affairs.  Opened in 1999 CCP is a hub to build awareness, knowledge, and skills on the intersections of our multiple identities. CCP works to bring the UVM community together through conversations, roundtables, speakers and workshops.  Utilizing these tools we seek to foster inclusion, equity and empowerment by providing the highest quality of education to all.
Sherwood Smith, Senior Executive Director of Diversity, Engagement & Professional Development

The vision of the Center for Cultural Pluralism is a UVM community, engaged in practices that support learners of culture and address social justice, with particular focus on those acts that promote critical analysis and reflection in the teaching and learning environments.
