Professor Taylor teaches courses in political theory, the history of political thought, American political thought, and environmental political theory. His most recent books are The Routledge Philosophy Guidebook to Thoreau’s “Civil Disobedience” and Horace Mann’s Troubling Legacy: The Education of Democratic Citizens.
