Signing out Keys Overnight
You must be a music major to sign out keys overnight. These students are the only ones who can reserve time during non-office hours.
You may not sign out keys overnight if you are not a music major. If you are taking lessons, or playing in ensembles, but not a music major, you may ask someone in the office to let you into a room during regular office hours (weekdays 8:30am-4:30pm).
Students will be charged a late fee of $20/day if they do not return keys to the Music & Dance Office the business day after their reservation.
After returning keys late twice, key privileges will be revoked.
Graduating Senior Key Deposit Policy
Graduating seniors must have written permission from a faculty member, and must fill out a Key Authorization Form to keep key(s) for the summer. A cash deposit for each key of $130 (the cost of replacing a lock) is required in advance. These students get their deposit back when they return their key at the end of the summer.
Summer Key Deposit Policy (for all but Graduating Seniors)
All but graduating seniors must have written permission from a faculty member, and must fill out a Key Authorization Form to keep their key(s) for the summer.
Keys to Wenger II
The large Wenger room may be signed out by music majors who have passed their Level II audition.
