    Intern Barrie Knapp

Barrie Knapp ('19 Art History) interned during summer 2018 with the Cultural Program at Deutsches Haus at NYU. Barrie was a recipient of the CAS Internship Scholarship.

"My responsibilities consisted of helping organize and coordinate Deutsches Haus cultural events (i.e. readings, film screenings, lectures). Deutsches Haus has a program in which they sponsor writers and filmmakers from Germany, Austria, or Switzerland to work in New York City and often participate in their own reading or lecture at Deutsches Haus. Part of my job was to interview these writers (and filmmakers)-in-residence and often assist in translating their responses in English before posting them."
