Student Success Advisor

Jennifer Reardon-Brown (she/her) joined the CALS Dean’s Office in 2023. Jennifer earned her BA in English and minor in philosophy from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She also completed an M.Ed. program at Mansfield University of Pennsylvania.  Jennifer has worked as an instructor, advisor, and mentor for college students at both the New England Culinary Institute and Champlain College.

These experiences taught her a diverse skill set from Vermont food systems to the nuance of transfer credit evaluation. She plans to put that knowledge to good use with CALS students. She is a strong advocate for student success and holistic wellbeing.  Jennifer is also a visual artist with artwork on display at UVM at the Osher Center for Integrative Health.

In her current role as a Student Success Advisor for first-time first year and undeclared CALS students, Jennifer provides professional academic advising, connects students with resources, and facilitates workshops. Her goal is to understand each individual advisees’ goals and motivations, to help guide them on a successful journey at UVM.
