Emma Lane (she/her) is an alum of UVM’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, having earned a B.S. in Community and International Development while minoring in Green Building and Community Design. Emma returned to the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences in Fall 2018 to work as the Student Services Specialist in the CALS Dean’s Office after working in the renewable energy industry and in emergency shelters for Vermonters experiencing homelessness.
Emma currently serves as a Student Success Advisor for CALS students. In this role, she provides professional advising to first-time first year and undeclared students and connects them with resources available to students in the college. With a warmhearted welcome and open-door policy, Emma’s goal is to get students set up on the path for success at UVM.
