Hannah Lacasse, Ph.D. Student

Hannah was born and raised in midcoast Maine and earned a BA in Environmental Policy from Colby College. In 2017 she moved to Boston where she worked at a nonprofit, focusing on public health and consumer protection issues. From there she pursued an MS in Community Development and Applied Economics at the University of Vermont. Hannah’s research interests include consumer behavior, the economics of hemp production, crop diversity and food systems.
