Esther Ekitela, born and raised in Turkana an Arid and Semi-Arid county in Kenya with high temperatures and low rainfall. Graduated from Kenyatta University with a bachelor’s degree in Education Science and worked with MOE as a high school Biology and Chemistry teacher for 5 years. I also graduated from Kenya Methodist with a master’s degree in Leadership and Education Management and worked at Mount Kenya University as a Lecturer and a Deputy Principal Academics for 2 years. I then joined UNICEF as an education officer (currently) providing leadership and technical expertise in planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of Education programs for the last 8 years. Also graduated from Catholic University of Eastern Africa with Doctorate in Education Administration and Planning.
