I like to think of myself as a mirror to the student effort: engagement builds upon the student-initated connection and creates a strong advising relationship for a student's time at UVM. I meet with all incoming CDAE students to iron out a timeline to graduation and identify coursework that suits their academic, internship, and career visions. Students interested in exploring abroad programs or CDAE travel courses, double majors or dual degrees, or minors within their academic career benefit from mapping out a plan through advising.
