James R. Keller Jr. has over twelve years of equity valuation, analysis and debt restructuring experience. He is a Partner and Co-Founder of RAIF, LLC, an investment adviser to Real Assets Equity Income Fund, LP ("RAEIF, LP"), both of which were formed in 2010.  He is also a Partner in Thermopolis Partners, LLC, an SEC-registered investment adviser to RAEIF Alpha, LP, a private investment fund formed in 2005.  Mr. Keller joined Thermopolis Partners in early 2005 as the firm's Partner, Senior Analyst and Trader.  From 2005 through today, Mr. Keller has been involved in equity analysis, trading, idea generation and portfolio management for Thermopolis Partners, LLC and RAIF, LLC.  Prior to joining Thermopolis Partner, LLC, Mr. Keller was a Financial Analyst with Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin in New York, NY from July 2003 to December 2004.  HLHZ is a mid-sized investment bank focused on corporate valuations, debt restructurings and mergers & acquisitions. Mr. Keller worked primarily on debt restructurings and M&A in a variety of industries and Mr. Keller graduated from the University of Vermont with a B.S. in Finance in 2003.
With the merger of his company with Tocqueville Asset Management, an investment advisor and private wealth management company with $11 billion under management, he is now also a portfolio manager with the company.
