Associate Professor

Carolyn M. Bonifield is an Associate Professor of Marketing at the University of Vermont Grossman School of Business. She holds degrees from the University of Iowa (Ph.D.), Michigan State University (MBA), and Ohio University (BA). Dr. Bonifield teaches courses in Marketing Communications, Consumer Behavior, and Marketing Management. Her research interests include consumer decision making, consumer responses to mobile technology, and collaborative consumption. She has published articles in a number of top business journals including the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Business Research, and Marketing Letters, among others. She serves on the Editorial Board of The Service Industries Journal. Prior to pursuing her Ph.D., she was a product manager for Unilever, and launched a small business, which she later sold.
