The School of Business Administration Dean’s Leadership Speaker Series is proud to welcome Rich Beck ’80, SVP, PepsiCo Global Operations on Tuesday, Sept. 16 at 11:45 a.m. in the Waterman Memorial Lounge.
Rich will be presenting PepsiCo's "Performance with Purpose," an ethos that guides the company's strategy and operations, and will highlight how it affects PepsiCo brands, operations, human sustainability, environmental sustainability and talent sustainability.
PepsiCo is one of the world's largest food and beverage companies with over $66 billion in net revenue in 2013 and a global portfolio of diverse brands sold in more than 200 countries and territories around the world. These brands include Pepsi, Gatorade, Quaker, Tropicana and Naked Juice. Rich was appointed to his current role in February 2011, and is responsible for leveraging the experience and capabilities of PepsiCo's supply chain organizations around the world, while driving critical initiatives across the company's food and beverage businesses.

Rich joined PepsiCo in 1993, and has served in a variety of positions, including senior vice president, Operations, Frito-Lay North America; executive vice president, PepsiCo Chicago; and most recently as president, North America Functional Beverages, PepsiCo Americas Beverages. In this role, Beck led the Sales, Supply Chain and Operations organizations supporting the Quaker, Tropicana and Gatorade businesses, and was a key player in driving Gatorade's sustainable growth.
Before joining PepsiCo, Rich spent 12 years at General Electric.
