The Master of Accountancy program provides students with a solid foundation in accounting while sharpening students' skills in business communication, ethics and research. MAcc alumni have great success on the CPA exam. The  CPA pass rate ranked UVM in the top 10% of US institutions with 10 or more candidates for eight consecutive years (2011-2018). The majority of MAcc graduates work in Big-4, international and local CPA firms, within the assurance and tax areas. The four tax classes encourage students to pursue a career in tax. The Accounting Information Systems, Auditing, and Forensic Accounting and Auditing classes well prepare students for an entry-level career in auditing.

If you would like to arrange a time to visit the campus and talk with MAcc students, please contact the MAcc Program Director, Suzanne Lowensohn, at slowenso@uvm.edu.
