Research and Outreach Staff
Vic is an evolutionary ecologist, conservation biologist, and agricultural entomologist hailing from the Hudson Valley of New York. His research focuses upon developing strategies for sustainable pest management in agricultural landscapes. In addition to his role as the ALC Educational Coordinator, Vic also teaches multiple courses at UVM and Champlain College.

Janica is pursuing a Ph.D. in Agroecology at the Department of Plant and Soil Science, and is also a Gund fellow through the Economics for the Anthropocene program (E4A). Undergraduate Research Fellows
Olivia is a senior undergraduate research assistant in the College of Arts and Sciences hailing from Rhode Island. Her areas of interest are Environmental Studies, Anthropology, and Food Systems. Her role in the Agroecology Research Collaborative includes facilitating meetings as well as assisting in research for the Urban and Peri-urban Agroecology project.
After 3 years of working with small coffee farmers in Costa Rica, Sebastian came to understand the importance of accelerating the shift we need to make towards more sustainable food systems.
