Who should apply to Discovering UVM?

Please be advised that we are looking for students with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of B (3.0) or better. Applicants should be on track to have completed the following by graduation:

  • 4 years of English
  • 3 years of math (including algebra 1, geometry and algebra 2 or the equivalent)
  • 3 years of a natural or physical science (including a laboratory science)
  • 3 years of social science
  • 2 years of the same foreign language
  • Tiana Segers

Tiana S. - Business Administration Major

I chose UVM because of how welcoming the community was and the beautiful environment. I wasn't too sure what to expect from the school at first because a friend of my dad recommended it, but it exceeded my expectations by far. I loved the little things about the school, like the therapy dogs, the different centers for people of different identities, and the overall school spirit. As cheesy as it sounds, after walking around and seeing the green I knew I had found my second home.
