Overview of Remote Services

In an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19 and practice social distancing, Student Accessibility Services is providing services remotely until further notice. We have many opportunities for you to engage virtually. If you have questions about any of the following, please email us at access@uvm.edu.

  • We offer one on one appointments via audio and video call. You can self-schedule by logging in to our student portal, and selecting Schedule an Appointment .” Select ‘schedule an appointment”  which shows the details ‘student appointment’ and using the drop down, your assigned specialist name will be present which then loads their availability.  Select date/time that works for you and an automatic scheduling notice is sent via email to you and your specialist once you select appointment.  We are offering next-day appointments when possible; please email access@uvm.edu if you have a time-sensitive need and we will schedule an appointment for you as soon as possible.
  • For new students, to get started with Student Accessibility Services, please fill out our Getting Started form.  A staff member will reach out to you with next steps.
  • Our website features several additional online resources, including documentation guidelines, information about disability related housing accommodations, and even community resources!
