Please note: Due to health and safety measures instituted in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Advising Center is closed. Staff in the Center for Academic Success are working remotely.  This includes the Advising Center Coordinator. Peer advisors are not on campus, as we have moved to remote instruction for students.

We are checking program area emails regularly, and we encourage you to reach out to us there. The Center for Academic Success will maintain all essential functions, and continue to serve as a resource for students by providing student success services and resources from a distance. All updates can be found on the COVID-19 Information and Updates web page.

Please email advising@uvm.edu with all questions. Refer to the COVID-19 Information and Updates page for more information.

Students go to the Advising Center (1st floor, Davis Center) to have questions answered by peers/staff. No question is off limits!

Students may wonder how to run a Degree Audit, how to withdraw from a class, where to buy a new pair of boots, or how to get downtown. The Advising Center can help with these and more:

The Advising Center’s mission is to connect with students on a peer to peer level, help students get connected to resources around campus and in Burlington, and coach students into taking ownership of their UVM experience so they can make the most out of their time here.
