Huck Gutman's Columns for The

Huck Gutman is a regular columnist for The Statesman, the oldest and most prestigious English-language newspaper in Kolkata. He is also a regular contributor to Dawn, the most important English-language newspaper in Pakistan. Most of his commentaries are also reprinted (and several are originally published) on Common Dreams, America's most widely-known web site for news and commentary from a progressive perspective.
Professor Huck Gutman teaches at the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont. USA. He served as a Fulbright Visiting Associate Professor at the Calcutta University in 2000-2001, where he taught courses in American poetry. Huck Gutman's columns are also available, below. .
