Historic Census Data
As part of this research and to help prepare an agricultural history of
Franklin, original U.S. Agricultural Census Data provided great first
hand accounts of exactly what was produced in Franklin. This can
show trends in farming, and helps to illustrate what was really
happening "on the ground" during these years. Also, if you have
live in Franklin, this can be a great resource to see what was grown on
your land or by your family generations ago!
