The wind group spent five days installing a wind turbine at Grand Fond Elementary School in Dominica.

When we arrived at the site, we were perplexed to find that the Ipack had gone missing!

 

 

Where could the Ipak have gone?...

 

We came to the conclusion that it was stolen and the recorded wind speeds from the past year were lost forever.

We ran 16mm wire into the school, where we connected the wires from the turbine to the charge controller. We connected the charge controller to 2 resistors wired in parallel, and to four 6 Volt batteries in series parallel.
