Volunteer Opportunities

We offer many ways for volunteers to get involved at the Women's Center. We encourage creative participation and ideas. Volunteers at the Women's Center in the past have been involved with event planning committees such as Women's Herstory Month, planning and production of the Vagina Monologues and V-Day Campaign, the Paradigm Project, planning and implementing special projects about women's issues, creating brochures and posters for various events and education projects, presenting for Women at Noon , cooking or baking for events, organizing for elections, tabling and postering, and other administrative tasks.

We are currently seeking volunteers to participate on a committee to develop safer student transportation services on campus. Efforts have been initiated by students to develop a walking or vehicle escorted transportation service to encourage use of campus facilities at night and ensure that students feel safe. If you are interested in participating in this effort, please contact the Women's Center via this form, or feel free to contact Candace Taylor directly by email or phone at (802) 656-3816.
