Summer field and lab assistant positions in Breck's lab

I don't yet know what my summer 2009 field and lab assistant needs here in Vermont will look like. There will be some opportunities, but the need will depend in part on funding and in part on the number of previous assistants who stay on to help this year. If you have some interest in working in my lab this summer on Vermont-based projects, contact me.

The following two opportunities is for research with the NSF Arctic LTER program at the Toolik Research Station on the North Slope of Alaska. The application procedures for some or all of these positions will be handled by the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole, MA (The Ecosystems Center) and are still being finalized as of this date. Its advisable that you revisit these links to get the latest information. If you are interested in the first (Summer STREAMS FA) position, contact Breck Bowden. For any other position apply as indicated in the announcement.

Summer Field Assistant for Stream Research (1 position)

Summer Field Assistant for Terrestrial and Lakes Research and Chemistry Lab support Research Assistant (2-3 positions)

Summer Research Assistant (and REU?) positions for Land-Water research (1, maybe 2 positions)

[Unfortnately, due to budget cuts the previously advertised REU opportunities in the ArcLTER research program have been cancelled. The "Land-Water" link above still lists an REU postion as being avialable, but I would check this out before you apply. These budget cuts do not affect the FA and RA positions noted above.]
