Started instaling, testing, using RadMind to configure Art Lab. Testing highly focused on Macromedia Dreamweaver, which consistently fails in the CMD. Son of a gun, it works great in Williams 414, on G4s, Gs, and dual G5s. So what’s wrong with the library? I dunno. Maybe I should reimage those machines. Anyway, brought  a few [...]

Will reported that Microsoft apps were acting up again (the corrupt font issue). Fixed, for the moment.

Propagated new RadMdn image to CMS Macs 1,2, and 3. And stupid Macormedia Studio MX 2004 applications still do not launch, same symptoms as before.  Frustrating. Removed the Macromedia overlay from the configuration, which should have effectively uninstalled all of Studio, reinstalled from CD — no luck. Still think it is a boot record disk [...]

Completed configuration. Reconditioned lab eMac with more emmeory, removed OpenFirmware password, updated with RadMind image, started firt update of real lab machines with CMD Mac 4.

Finished up the final configuration, installing Quicktime updates, motion updates, and OS 10.4.7 updates.

Instaled Final Cut Studio on new improved Lab Image. Updated negative transcript to allow mamangement of /Users/Shared . Started install of Adobe CS 2

Continued to build new image. AddedFetchMS Office latest updatesiPhoto 6.04 updates
Started install of FCP Studio

Built new transcript from restored current baseline machine. Loaded on server. Distributed to client, did not fix Macromedia probems. WIll try first deleteing all vestiges of Macromedia on cliient then try again. Meanwhile, built pristine new 10.6.6/iLife base system on Firewire, building transcript and uploading to server now. WIll begin on new plan tomorrow.

Rebuilt art image from external firewire on laptop, everything works. Starting building new RadMind base image LRG-Base-2006-06-07.T . Started fresh install on external firewire of OS X, will build new "clean" image from there in stages:

Banged head against wall trying to solve. Seems to work OK when boted from external hard drive , tried cloning external back to laptop, failed.

Macromind Studio MX 2004 and RadMind haven’t mxed very well. After updating 3 out of 4 clients, Dreamweaver doesn’t work. Experiece behavior like this. Found references here. But stil no luck.
