Mercedes is Program Evaluator for the VT-ILEHP program as well as for the Vermont Child Health Improvement Program (VCHIP). In this role, Mercedes designs the measurement schema and qualitative and quantitative tools for monitoring goals and objectives of both projects. She creates and maintains databases to support porgrammatic data collection efforts.
Mercedes also works as a Cultural and Linguistic Competence Coordinator with the Howard Center. Here she provides leaderhip in the development, implementation, and monitoring of the cultural and linguistic competence portion of the State of Vermont's SAMHSA Youth in Transition grant.
