Sprouting Possibilities

Want to coach sports, teach an art, or lead a hike for girls grades K-12? We've grown from Sprouts, an environmental education program, to a full array of ways for volunteers to share their talents or learn new skills.Come help with a day of Sprouts, sports, singing - it's up to you, as is the time commitment- from one day to everyday! No experience is necessary, we'll provide training and fun.

Sprouts is still a great way to pass on knowledge and appreciation of the natural world with these leaders of tomorrow, third through six graders, during a day or evening of outdoor activities. We work with Girl Scout troops and help them meet badge requirements through fun outdoor activites. We carpool to a camp in Richmond a few days (Friday evenings and Saturdays) each semester for this program.
