About Your Student Bill
Your bill is your responsibility no matter who is paying it. You are responsible for paying any charges (tuition and fees) that are not covered by your veteran's benefits. Pay close attention to your bill in the myUVM Portal and be sure to contact Student Financial Services if a VA payment hasn't been applied by the time your bill is due. They are friendly and willing to work with you if you have already been certified and are waiting on payment from VA.
For example: if you are eligible and certified for the Post 9/11 GI Bill at the 100% rate and receive a UVM bill, log in to myUVM and take a look at it. If a VA payment has not been applied, submit a question to Student Financial Services and let them know you are waiting on a VA payment. If you have requested to be certified, you will not receive a late fee and your account will be balanced once UVM receives a VA payment.

Note that a reduction in credit hours may result in a change of eligibility for benefits even after disbursement has occured and may create a debt.
