The 2011 conference took place on Tuesday, April 26th, at the Davis Center, 4th Floor, and over 250 students participated.
Congratulations to Wingyin Lo, who is a Senior (Animal Science [CALS]), an Honors College student, and was a poster presenter on "Diagnostic implications of microRNA expression profile in thyroid cancer."

This year, attendees of the 2011 Student Research Conference will learn about wireless sensors, dairy farming, the sex ratio of a malaria parasite, television and feminism and much more.
UVM Today spoke with three of the student researchers Lauren Blackington, CESS; Robert L. Brenna III, psychology; Nilanjan Lodh, biology about their motivation, findings and next steps.
