Macintosh Resources

When you encounter problems with a Macintosh computer, here are some places to look for help.

  • The first place to look is in the Macintosh help. Make sure you are in the "Finder" application by looking at the top left corner of the screen, it should say "Finder" in bold letters. If it does not, click on the desktop and it should change to the "Finder". Then go to the "Help" menu and select the "Mac Help" item. You can also hit "command-?" for Macintosh help.
  • The next place to look would be the Apple support page.
  • The final place to look would be to Google your problem in your favorite web browser.
