Whole Farm Planning for Women Farmers
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Location: Randolph
Description: Beginning women farmers (those with 2-10 years running a farming business) in Vermont can learn more about whole farm planning in a 10 session program developed specifically for women.
Applications for this course are now being accepted through November 1. Space is limited to 15 qualified participants. Full and partial scholarships are available to cover the registration fee, which is on a sliding scale of $150 to $500. An online application form may be found at www.uvm.edu/newfarmer. Winter Northeast Regional 4-H Shooting Sports Workshop

Description: New York, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey and Vermont 4-H Shooting Sports Programs' Annual Winter Workshop will certify volunteer leaders as 4-H Shooting Sports Instructors. Air Pistol, Archery, Coordinator, Hunting, Living History, Muzzle Leading, Rifle and Shotgun will be featured, based on a minimum enrollment of 5 participants.
