Description:"The Life of Artisanal Cheese: Negotiating the Values of an Unfinished Commodity," Heather Paxson, Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She teaches courses on food and culture, craft practice, family and gender, and ethnographic research methods. Her second book, "The Life of Cheese: Crafting Food and Value in America" has just been published with University of California Press. A book signing will follow Heather's talk.
