For the second year in a row, the MBA in Sustainable Entrepreneurship (SEMBA) program in the Grossman School of Business has been named one of the top MBA programs in North America by CEO Magazine.

The London-based business magazine included SEMBA on its list of Tier I schools that combine exceptional quality with great return on investment as part of its “2017 Global MBA Rankings.” More than 300 business schools from across North America, Europe, New Zealand, Australia and the BRICS were considered, with SEMBA making the top 75 in North America.

CEO Magazine, an international publication focused on the advancement of business executives, relied on 11 weighted criteria to determine its 2017 rankings. Quality of faculty was given the most weight (34.95 percent), followed by international diversity, class size, accreditation, faculty-student ratio, price, international exposure, work experience, professional development, gender parity and delivery methods.

Now in its third year, SEMBA is accumulating a growing list of top awards. The Princeton Review recently ranked it as the No. 2 “Best Green MBA” program in the U.S. based on academic quality, institutional data, and survey responses of 22,000 students. Corporate Knights placed it among the top 10 in its “Better World MBA Rankings” and Vermont Business Magazine named it the Best MBA Program in Vermont.
