Daniel A. Burack ’55, HON’08 and a member of the board of directors for the UVM Foundation, was presented with Hillel International’s highest honor at a May 18 ceremony in New York City. The Renaissance Award annually recognizes the individual or individuals whose bold vision and transformative initiatives enrich the campus, the Jewish community and the world.

Burack, who is the chairman of Burack Investments and one of the founding partners of ABS Partners Real Estate, is a member of Hillel International’s Board of Governors and the chair of UVM Hillel’s Board of Directors.
