UVM Standardized Patient Educator Bob Bolyard has been elected to the Association of Standardized Patient Educators (ASPE) Board of Directors as a member liaison for 2016-2017.

Bolyard, who began working as a Standardized Patient (SP) at UVM in 1998, served as an SP trainer from 2010 to 2012 and officially become an SP educator in 2013. Voted “SP of the Year” by the UVM College of Mediicne classes of 2014 and 2015 at their Foundations awards reception, Bolyard also serves as a College of Medicine representative on the UVM Staff Council.
