Sept. 18 and 19, Vermont state climatologist and geography professor Lesley-Ann Dupigny-Giroux visited the the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she gave a presentation, titled "Communication of scientific information to general audiences,” as part of the fall seminar series of its School of Natural Resources. During her visit, Dupigny-Giroux, who has a longstanding relationship with the National Drought Mitigation Center housed at the  University of Nebraska-Lincoln, also consulted on the implementation of the university’s new undergraduate major in applied climate sciences.
