“You’re the Expert,” the WBUR radio program that aims to “bring academic research out of the Ivory Tower and into your iPhone,” visits Burlington Thursday, May 22, for a taping at Club Metronome, 188 Main Street, at 6:30 p.m.

The featured expert on this episode of the show is UVM’s Peter Dodds, professor of mathematics and statistics and director of UVM’s Complex Systems Center, whose work will be discussed by host Chris Duffy and comedians Myq Kaplan, Anna Drezen, and Nathan Hartswick  The program’s website offers this description of the show: “Through games, sketches, and hilariously misguided guesses, three hilarious comedians try to figure out what our expert studies all day.” 

The event is part of the 6th annual Green Mountain Comedy Festival. Tickets, $12, are available online.
