A Google search for Professor Paul Bierman’s new finding yields more than 750 hits in multiple languages including the Wall Street Journal, National Public Radio, the International Business Times, Le Monde, NBC news, the National Science Foundation and the homepage of NASA. Bierman’s research on the Greenland ice sheet has led to a discovery of organic soil that has been frozen underneath the ice for 2.7 million years.
