Professor Emeritus Bernd Heinrich and visiting scholar Thomas Bugnyar’s research on theory of mind in ravens is the subject of an article in The Economist. Humans are often considered to be the only species capable of advanced mental processes such as recognizing that other people have their own personal thoughts.
