Seven Days covers the collaboration of associate professor Paul Besaw and assistant library professor Selene Colburn, both dance choreographers, in a two-part performance entitled “Antagony Loves Company.” Besaw’s work, “Momma at the Gate,” focuses on two war stories that highlight the themes of mothers and daughters, war and survival. Colburn’s work is entitled “Potboilers,” composed of three mini-comedies of wide ranging scope, from cold-war Russia to the American Museum of Natural History. “We’re both taking divergent approaches to dance theater,” says Besaw.
