Seven University of Vermont College of Medicine Class of 2015 Public Health Projects were accepted for presentation at the American Public Health Association (APHA) 141st Annual Meeting & Exposition held November 2 to 6, 2013 in Boston, Mass. Two were accepted in the Student Poster Award Showcase category.

UVM College of Medicine Associate Dean for Public Health Jan Carney, M.D., M.P.H., attended the meeting with several students from the Class of 2015.

The APHA Annual Meeting – the prominent event for learning and networking within the public health field – featured more than 1,000 cutting edge scientific sessions, 700 booths of information and state-of-the-art public health products and services, and hundreds of social events.
