The Associated Press, in a story that ran in The Washington Post and a number of other media outlets, explains how a $6 million grant from the National Science Foundation will allow UVM researchers -- and colleagues in Rhode Island and Delaware -- to use advanced optical sensors to monitor water quality in real time.
