Associated Press Announces NSF Grant for UVM to Study Watershed Changes with High-Tech Sensor

The Associated Press, in a story that ran in The Washington Post and a number of other media outlets, explains how a $6 million grant from the National Science Foundation will allow UVM researchers -- and colleagues in Rhode Island and Delaware -- to use advanced optical sensors to monitor water quality in real time. The project, led by the Vermont Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCor) is expected to launch a network of lab and field-based experiments that could inform policy decisions in the region and beyond.
