Five School of Business Administration students received the “Rookie of the Year” award at the 2013 United States National Enactus Exposition.  Harrison Gessow, James Holtman, Ryan Little, Amelia Traynor and Jake Webber traveled to Kansas City, Missouri earlier this month to represent the university at the national competition.

Enactus is a community of student, academic and business leaders committed to using the power of entrepreneurial action to enable human progress.  There are currently 535 Enactus teams worldwide with over 21,000 active students.  Enactus students apply business concepts to develop community outreach projects, transform lives and shape a better, more sustainable world.

In April, the School of Business Administration team was named 2013 Regional Enactus Champions after the competition in New York City.  The team also earned the “Rookie of the Year” award.

Flagler College, in St. Augustine, Florida, was named the National Champion and will advance to the Enactus World Cup in Mexico this fall.
