The UVM community annually participates in the American Cancer Society fundraiser Relay for Life. This year, the April 19 event hosted on campus raised $85,120. The all-night event symbolizes the never-ending battle against cancer.

Sixty-eight percent of the total raised came from efforts by UVM fraternity and sorority chapters. Four hundred twenty-four fraternity and sorority members participated, raising $57,688.
